ELITR, represented by Charles University, is showcasing live speech translation at the Farewell Lecture of Prof. Dr. Franciska de Jong at University of Twente on 24th November 2023.
We provide automatic transcription and translation from Dutch into English and other 41 languages. The translations are available on this link:

Background
ELITR — European Live Translator, was an EU funded project for live speech translation research and innovation in which a platform for speech translation of live events was developed. Currently, in 2023, we use the ELITR platform with Whisper model for transcription in translation into English. We adapted it for real-time mode with Whisper-Streaming.
